Provided is a technique for cooling IT equipment wherein it is possible to control the humidity when introducing external air while conserving energy. Disclosed is an external-air introducing data center provided with: an external-air introducing blower (13) for introducing external air; an air conditioning chamber (10) which is equipped with an air conditioner, adjusts the temperature of the introduced external air, and supplies the temperature adjusted air to a machine chamber which houses IT equipment; an exhaust blower (14) which emits the air heated by means of the IT equipment in the machine chamber; and a water spraying device (15) which sprays water to the air heated in the machine chamber and which supplies the air sprayed with water to the air conditioning chamber. The air conditioning chamber adjusts the temperature of the combined air of the air which was sprayed with water and the air which was blown from the external-air introducing blower and supplies said combined air to the machine chamber.
