<p>The disclosed transfer device (30) is provided with an intermediate transfer belt (311), a drive roller (312), a secondary transfer belt (331), a secondary transfer roller (332), and an auxiliary member (333). The intermediate transfer belt (311) is stretched over the drive roller (312). The secondary transfer belt (331) presses against the intermediate transfer belt (311) in a secondary transfer region (92). The secondary transfer roller (332) is opposite the drive roller (312), with the intermediate transfer belt (311) and the secondary transfer belt (331) therebetween, and is electrically grounded. The auxiliary member (33) is disposed on the secondary transfer roller (332) side of the secondary transfer belt (331), upstream of the secondary transfer roller (332) in the paper feed direction (93).
