The disclosed electronic component casing is provided with: a slanted section that is provided protruding on the upper surface thereof and that becomes taller with distance from one side; a step section that drops down and is continuous with the upper end of the aforementioned slanted section, or that drops down with a flat surface that is continuous with the upper end therebetween; and a flat surface section that is continuous with the bottom end of the aforementioned step section.
