<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus capable of setting the number of sheets available for the individual users of a given user group and thereby allowing the individual users to make efficient use of sheets within the limit of the number of sheets set for the user group. <P>SOLUTION: The information processor apparatus comprises: an operation section 301 which is configured to allow a user to input an available amount per-user for a predetermined period, a print information storage section 305 for storing the available amount per-user for a predetermined period; a print information acquisition section 306 for acquiring a per-user usage from an MFP 100; a print permission determination section 308 which compares a per-user usage and an available amount per-user, determines whether the per-user usage has reached the available amount per-use, and informs the MFP 100 of permission given for use if the available amount per-user has not been reached or permission denied for use if the available amount per-user has been reached; a print sheet calculation section 307 for calculating a per-user usage for a predetermined period; and a settings update section 303 for setting an available amount per-user for the next predetermined period based on a per-user usage for the current predetermined period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
