摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To virtually present a state of a surrounding environment through a tactile sense of force. <P>SOLUTION: A virtual tactile sense of force presentation device presents a tactile sense of force by applying a tactile load to a hand of an user and such tactile load is virtually configured by positional information on a virtual space sensed by the hand of the user as an object of sensory communication and positional information of an object existing in the virtual space. The device comprises: position detection means to detect a distance and a direction between the object and the hand of the user in the virtual space; moving direction detection means to detect a moving direction based on the position of the object as well as the position and the direction of the hand of the user; moving distance detection means to detect a movement amount of the hand of the user corresponding to the distance between the position of the object and the position of the hand of the user; and parameter setting means to set a physical parameter to apply a load for the movement of the hand of the user in the virtual space corresponding to the moving direction and the movement amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
