<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication system that can strengthen security strength against an illegally accessing person with considering user's convenience in a simple manner. <P>SOLUTION: The authentication state of another authentication device is checked (step S300). Then, with respect to the obtained authentication state data, it is determined whether the authentication success frequency of the another authentication device is odd-number of times (step S302). In the step S302, if the authentication success frequency of the another authentication device is determined to be odd-number of times (YES in the step S302), an authentication screen with high authentication intensity is displayed (step S304).
