<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phased-array ultrasonic inspection device which can be used under a high temperature condition, and an inspection method and a coke drum using the phased-array ultrasonic inspection device. <P>SOLUTION: A phased-array ultrasonic inspection device used for inspecting a defect of an inspection target S of high temperature is equipped with a phased-array probe PA supplying ultrasonic wave UW to the inspection target S, and a wedge 3 disposed between the phased-array probe PA and the inspection target S. The wedge 3 is equipped with a contacting surface 3b contacting on a surface of the inspection target S, and an installation surface 3a installing the phased-array probe PA tilting toward the contacting surface 3b. As the phased-array probe PA is contacted with the inspection target S through the wedge 3, even when the heat-resisting temperature of the phased-array probe PA is low, the inspection of the inspection target S of high temperature can be carried out by a phased-array UT method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
