摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophoresis display device that is capable of realizing low current consumption by protection circuits capable of preventing the occurrence of leakage current even if a pixel circuit is constituted by transistors having a plurality of gate electrodes and of surely protecting an internal circuit from leakage voltage caused by static electricity or the like and has an excellent reliability, and further to provide an electronic equipment. <P>SOLUTION: An electrophoresis display device according to the present invention has an electrophoresis layer interposed between an element substrate and a counter substrate. On the element substrate, the electrophoresis display device includes: a pixel circuit disposed in a display region; wiring connected to the pixel circuit; and protection circuits connected to the pixel circuit through the wiring disposed in a peripheral region.
