<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light detection device which is easily manufactured and improves accuracy in detecting ambient light of a vehicle and rain drops adhering on a windshield of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A first light guide body 30, a first light receiving element, a light emitting element, a second light guide body 60, and a second light receiving element are stored in a case to be attached to the windshield of the vehicle. The first light guide body 30 is arranged to permeate the ambient light of the vehicle and includes a contact surface 35 to have contact with the second light guide body 60; and first projected welding parts 36 arranged at positions different from that of the contact surface 35. The second light guide body 60 is arranged to permeate light emitted from the light emitting element and light reflected against a boundary surface between the windshield and an external part of the vehicle and includes second projected welding parts 68 arranged at positions corresponding to the first welding parts 36. The first light guide body 30 and the second light guide body 60 are integrated by welding with heat between the first welding parts 36 and the second welding parts 68, while having contact in the contact surface 35 and a contact surface 67. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
