<p>The present invention provides a Set-Top Box (STB), a home gateway, a method and system for implementing interaction between the STB and the home gateway. The method includes the following steps: the STB sends a subscription message to the home gateway in the manner of a Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) protocol message; the home gateway receives and analyzes the subscription massage, then sends a subscription response event message, which is combined based on the analyzed subscription information, to the STB in the manner of a UPnP protocol message; and after receiving the subscription response event message, the STB triggers corresponding operations according to the subscription response event message. According to the present invention, the flexible cooperation between the home gateway and the STB can be implemented, the object of automatic diagnosis and automatic service adjustment can be achieved, and the user experience can be effectively increased.</p> |
