<p>Provided is a sealing agent comprising an aqueous liquid composition containing an inhibitor, as a sealing agent for metal-plated members that function sufficiently in spite of the liquid composition being neutral to acidic, wherein the inhibitor contains benzotriazole and 2-carboxymethylthiobenzothiazole. Preferably pH is 3.0 or greater, the benzotriazole content is between 10 ppm and 1,000 ppm, and the 2-carboxymethylthiobenzothiazole content is between 10 ppm and 1,000 ppm. A sealing method that uses the sealing agent is also provided.</p> |
