SHORT MESSAGE MONITORING SYSTEM AND METHOD

A short message monitoring system and method are provided, and said system comprises: a short message center and a short message monitoring platform; said method comprises: saving a first blacklist for recording illegal numbers at the short message center, and configurating short message analyzing and monitoring policies and call volume demand information at the short message monitoring platform; after a short message data packet is received, if the short message center does not find the number of the short message sender in the first blacklist, it combines the short message analyzing and monitoring policies and the call volume demand information to analyze and judge the short message data packet, and once the short message is judged to be a spam message, it adds the number of the short message sender into the first blacklist. The method combines the existing short message monitoring policies with the call participating frequency of the sender's number, thus effectively avoids mistaking a normal user of sending short messages for a spam message sender by adopting the short message policies and rules to carry out the monitoring, the success rate of filtering spam messages is increased drastically, and the satisfaction degree of users is enhanced.
