<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform restoration from power-saving mode quickly while eliminating wasting of power and storage capacity during power-saving mode of an apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing system includes a storage device containing a nonvolatile semiconductor memory means, a disk type memory means, and a power management means. The power management means can control power-saving mode through a plurality of steps according to execution of writing or reading of data. At the time of controlling a standby state of the disk type memory means according to the power-saving mode, if a mode of lower power consumption than previous one is selected as the power-saving mode, the memory region of control program is changed from a memory region on the low speed side in the storage device to that on the high speed side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
