<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-luminous LED traffic sign capable of displaying a red and white traffic sign with a clearer contrast. <P>SOLUTION: A self-luminous LED traffic sign having a framework 2 with an opening, LED elements 4 arranged inside the framework 2, a solar cell 5 arranged outside the framework 2, and a transparent plate 12 attached to the opening of the framework 2 as a cover comprises a sign body 13 composed of the transparent plate 12 to which solid printing 10 is applied except for a portion of sign characters 16 and a fluorescent material 14 arranged on the portion having the solid printing 10 coverage of the sign body 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
