<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular controller built-in rotating electrical machine in which a controller is fixedly set up in a metallic bracket of a rotating electrical machine and that can avoid a damage of the controller due to shocks from outside or a collision of flying objects. <P>SOLUTION: A controller 20 comprises a metallic housing 4 composed of a front bracket 2 and a rear bracket 3, a rotator 8 that is fixed on a shaft 6 pivotally supported by the front bracket 2 and the rear bracket 3 and is rotatably provided within the housing 4, a cylindrical stator iron core 13 provided so as to be held by the front bracket 2 and the rear bracket 3 to surround the rotator 8, a stator 12 having a stator coil 14 wound around by the stator iron core 13, a DC/AC power interconversion circuit 21 for applying electrical current to the stator coil 14, and a controlling circuit 30 for controlling the DC/AC power interconversion circuit 21.
