<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-valve engine that sufficiently prevents the occurrence of knocking. <P>SOLUTION: An engine 10 includes a cylinder head 12, a cylinder body 14 and a crank case 16. An oil pump 156 is arranged at the crank case 16. A combustion chamber 26 having an exhaustion port 30 and an intake port 32 which are arranged in the fore-and-aft direction is formed at the cylinder head 12. A through-hole 37 is formed at the right side rather than the exhaustion port 30 and the intake port 32 in the cylinder head 12. An ignition plug 38 is attached to the through-hole 37. Lubricating oil sent out of the oil pump 156 is fed to a hollow part 42 through oil passages 134, 136, 138 and 142, air spaces 140c, 104a and 86a, an oil passage 98, an air space 88a and a through-hole 94. The oil passage 98 is formed so as to pass the front part of the combustion chamber 26, the left side of the combustion chamber 26 and the rear part rather than the combustion chamber 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
