<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus for facilitating separation of each of edited pages from a manuscript without separately applying a marking for specifying a processing range to the manuscript in advance. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus 1 comprises: a reading unit 13 for reading each page of a manuscript 90 to generate image data; an extraction unit 14 for extracting a marking 95 applied to a predetermined area 94 on a top edge of each page of the manuscript and discriminating a color of the marking 95; an editing determination unit 15 for determining whether or not there is an editing in each page on the basis of whether or not there is a marking in the same color as the discriminated color with respect to the generated image data; and a separation unit 16 for extracting an edited page if it is determined that there is the editing in the page. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
