<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor which can recognize a running direction, an entrance, and an exit, and can recognize sound information in an early stage until reaching the entrance and exit by constituting to utter the sound information onto a production of a handrail belt in the entrance and exit. <P>SOLUTION: In this safety device for the passenger conveyor which includes an automatic broadcasting device 16 which is composed of: a voice uttering part equipped with parametric speakers 17a and 17b; an amplification part connected to the voice uttering part; and a voice output control part connected to the amplification part, the parametric speakers 17a and 17b are provided between a mobile handrail 14 and floor surfaces 12a and 12b of an inlet part of the passenger conveyor, and the parametric speakers 17a and 17b are set so as to broadcast the purport of the running direction, the entrance, or the exit of the passenger conveyor, thereby calling a user's attention so that the user does not make a mistake in getting thereon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
