<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator maintenance safety device by which a worker working on a car top can escape downward from a car when the car does not work due to failure or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The elevator maintenance safety device 20 includes a rope winding drum 22 installed on the car top 18, an arm support part 28, an arm 30 which is rotated and supported by the arm support part 28 and includes a guide part 32 on a tip end so as to guide in paying out and drawing back a rope 24, and the rope 24 which is held at the rope winding drum 22 on one end side, includes a locking part 26 attached on other end side so as to be locked to a safety belt, and is guided to the guide part 32 on a tip end of the arm 30 between the one end side and the other end side. The arm 30 can change its state between a projecting state where the arm 30 is projected in a margin space 13 between the car 16 and an inner wall of a hoistway 12, and a housed state where the arm 30 is returned from the projecting state and is held on the car top 18, with the arm support part 28 serving as a pivot point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
