The invention relates to the field of aircraft construction. The aircraft fuselage comprises consecutive frames (1) with an outer skin (2) secured thereto, stringers (3) connected to the skin (2) and the frames (1), passenger floor cross-beams (4) close to the neutral surface of the fuselage, cargo floor cross-beams (5) and ceiling cross-beams (6). In the upper and lower portions, the cross section of the fuselage is made up of equal arcs of circles having a large radius; in the lateral portions, it is made up of arcs of circles having a smaller radius. The frames (1) are divided into lateral, upper and lower regions having different rigidities. The cargo floor cross-beams (5) are mounted so as to allow for the accommodation of containers and are mounted in the regions where the large radius arc passes into the small radius arc of the lower lateral surface of the fuselage. The upper ceiling cross-beams (6) are situated in the region where the upper large radius arc passes into the small radius arc of the lateral surface. The passenger floor cross-beams (4) are close to the neutral line of the fuselage cross section. The invention is intended to reduce weight.
