<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen capable of reducing the number of manufacturing steps and for obtaining a contrast-improved image at a lower cost. <P>SOLUTION: A screen includes a base material 2 and a first absorption-dispersion layer 4 disposed on one surface of the base material 2. The first absorption-dispersion layer 4 contains a color material 9y that absorbs light having a part of a wavelength of incident light.
