<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latch device for vehicles capable of preventing intrusion of water into the latch device body while suppressing the enlargement of it. <P>SOLUTION: A latch device for vehicles comprises: releasing members 120, 130 having a cam pin 133c which rotates around support shafts 101, 102 provided in a holding member 50B of an electric actuator 110 and which a driving force of the electric actuator is inputted into, and an output section 131a which releases an engagement of a latch with a ratchet by a rotation around the support shafts; and a gear member 140 rotating around the support shafts 101, 102 and also connecting between the electric actuator and the releasing members so as to input a driving force of the electric actuator into an input section. The cam pin is overlapped with a rotating plane of the gear member and is mounted on the holding member, such that a cover member covering at least the support shafts, the input section, the electric actuator and the gear member is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
