<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus that can always provide a focused image signal by adjusting the image signal to be focused corresponding to an output image signal to be displayed on an image display part. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: an image signal processing part that outputs a white balance adjustment signal and a focus adjustment signal from an image signal captured by an imaging element for converting a formed image through an imaging optics system to an electric signal; an automatic white balance part that adjusts and outputs a white balance adjustment gain corresponding to a white balance adjustment signal; and an automatic focus detection part that adjusts focus of the imaging optics system using the focus adjustment signal. The image signal processing part outputs a focus adjustment signal that is adjusted with an amplification factor of the focus adjustment gain, for processing the focus adjustment signal, adjusted depending on an amplification factor of the white balance adjustment gain when the white balance adjustment gain for adjusting the white balance adjustment signal is changed by the automatic white balance part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
