<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a mixing noise and cost required for a cable wiring. <P>SOLUTION: The coin processor comprises a conveyance section 63 for conveying a coin, a coin discrimination section 64 for discriminating a denomination of the coin, a first sensor group 93a constituted of one or plural sensors 93 for detecting a passage of the coin, a monitoring section 94 for monitoring the passage of the coin, a safe (mainly, denomination accommodation box 81) for storing the coin, a chute section 74 disposed above the safe and for dropping the coin into the safe, a generation turbine 91 disposed on a conveyance route of the coin from a coin receiver 61 to the safe and for rotating by a dropping energy of the coin to generate power when the coin drops through the turbine 91, a main power source 69 for supplying power to each section including the conveyance section and the coin discrimination section, and a battery 92 for storing power generated by the generation turbine.
