<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc rotor for a disc brake, the disc rotor having a good heat radiation property and a light weight fit for practical use. <P>SOLUTION: The disc rotor 1 for the disc brake comprises: two disc plate members 2, 3 arranged at a space with their inside faces 2a, 3a facing each other; aluminum plated layers 2d, 3d provided on the inside faces 2a, 3a of the disc plate members 2, 3, respectively; and an aluminum cast part 4 formed by internally chilling the disc plate members 2, 3 via the aluminum plated layers 2d, 3d. Outside faces 2b, 3b of the disc plate members 2, 3 have respective friction sliding faces for friction-sliding relative to friction pads when plate members are held between the friction pads. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
