ULTRASONIC INSPECTION DEVICE AND ULTRASONIC INSPECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic inspection device and an ultrasonic inspection method which use a thin probe installable at a narrow part to inspect a whole range in a through-thickness direction including a deep position near a rear surface of an inspected object.

SOLUTION: Probes 108 and 109 are thin and installable at a narrow part. A controller 201 controls a transmission of ultrasonic from the probes and processes a signal of ultrasonic received by the probes. A delay time controller 205 sets a delay time for a transmission timing of ultrasonic transmitted from each of the probes in accordance with distance differences among multiple probes, and a signal processing unit processes a signal of ultrasonic received by each of the probes.
