<p>The device (1) has a contact protection element (30) provided in a region of an opening (50), which is provided for passage of a tool e.g. screwdriver. Electrical conductors (2, 4) are connected by actuation of the tool. The element provides protection against contact of live parts of a connector (10) in an initial position. The protection element is moved out from a protection position during actuation of the tool. The protection element closes only a part of the opening in the initial position. The tool is brought into engagement with the connector by an unclosed part of the opening. An independent claim is also included for a connector for connecting electrical conductors.</p> |
