PURPOSE: A video coding and decoding method and apparatus for macroblock including an intra and an inter blocks are provided to perform a coding/decoding using an expanded coding block. CONSTITUTION: A prediction unit(510) predicts a current block. A subtraction unit(520) subtracts the current block and the prediction block. A converter and a quantizer(530) create a quantized conversion coefficient through the conversion of residual block and quantization. An encoder(540) creates encoding data through an entropy encoding of the quantized conversion coefficient. A filter(570) filters a picture using a deblocking filter.
