<p>Disclosed is screening method for easily finding chemicals controlling AIM function which involves (i) a step in which adipose precursor cells are cultured under conditions for differentiation into adipocytes, and in which AIM only, or AIM and a candidate compound, are added to the medium, (ii) a step in which the differentiation of said adipose precursor cells into adipocytes is evaluated, and (iii) a step in which, if adding AIM and the candidate compound resulted in a rise in differentiation induction efficiency to a level greater than that achieved adding only AIM, said candidate compound is selected as a AIM function suppressing compound, but if the induction efficiency falls, said candidate compound is selected as an AIM function enhancing compound.</p> |
