<p>The disclosed communication device (101) is provided with: an address registration means (103) that has ports (P) connected to a pathway of a ring network, and that records, for each port, address information, which is included in frames received by the abovementioned ports, and which identifies an information processing terminal that is the transmission source; and a frame forwarding means (102) that forwards received frames over the ring network on the basis of the registered abovementioned address information. When forwarding received frames over the ring network, the abovementioned frame forwarding means (102) includes in the frames and forwards hop-count information that indicates the number of communication devices that the frames passed through over the ring network, and address information of the information processing terminal that was the transmission source of the frame; and the abovementioned address registration means (103), for each port, associates and records the abovementioned hop-count information and the abovementioned address information contained in the received frames.</p> |
