The assembly has a weatherproof device to fix a weatherproof bar with an apron (200). A barrel (120) of the device is pivoted in a cylinder (110) of the device by a quarter-turn from a position, in which a head (132) of a nut is penetrated through a groove (203), towards another position in which the head is engaged with the groove and largest width of the head is perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the groove to fix the device to a strip (202) of the apron. Profile of the groove corresponds to a profile of the nut formed on an inner face of the apron strip. An independent claim is also included for a method for placing a weatherproof device on an apron of a roller shutter.
