PURPOSE: A wireless device and standby power saving method thereof are provided to supply power from a charged battery in a standby mode. CONSTITUTION: A switch provides AC power source from an AC power source. A converter(120) converts AC power source into DC power source. A charging circuit(130) charges the converted DC power to a charged battery. A controller(160) blocks the supply of the AC power by turning off the switch.
