<p>The method involves detecting heating zones (Z1-Z4) arranged with a sub-assembly of inductors (0-35) partially covered by containers (R1-R4). A group (U0) and another group of the heating zones are created, where the heating zones satisfy a predetermined proximity criterion of one of the groups. Operation of inverter power supply devices supplying the inductors of the heating zones of the group is controlled at identical switching frequency of the group, where the frequency of the group is independently adjustable to another identical switching frequency of the other group. An independent claim is also included for an induction cooktop comprising an inductor assembly.</p> |
