<p>The method involves generating an updating list if changes e.g. adding of variables, relative to an address, a name and/or a type of variables are performed at a data structure of a function component. The variables, which are valid before and after changing the data structure, are displayed in the list. The function component, an instance data component and the list are loaded in an automation device. Actual values of the variables provided in the list are registered in the data component. New variables of the data component are initialized with an initial value. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement with an automation device and an engineering system for obtaining a function component associated to an instance data component.</p> |
