PURPOSE: A device for preventing the opening of a tray cover is provided to prevent the open of a cover by restricting the upward movement of a knob when adding an instant external impact in a tray. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing the opening of a tray cover comprises a knob assembly. The knob assembly is installed in the front side of a cover. The locking of a locking device is canceled. The knob assembly comprises a side knob(210), a knob(220), a knob supporting spring(230), a knob housing(240), a blocking member(250) and a blocking member supporting spring(260). While the knob is moved up and down, the cover is locked or canceled. The knob supporting spring elastically supports the knob and side knob. The knob housing supports the up and down movement of the side knob and knob. The blocking member is installed in the top one side of the knob housing and is carried to the left and right. The blocking member supporting spring elastically supports the blocking member.
