<p>Support apparatus 1 comprises a support part (e.g. platform 3) supporting surveying apparatus and locating means (e.g. sleeve 5 or multiple prongs) that locates over a bolt 100 of a building structure. It may be secured by fitting snugly around the bolt or by means of magnet 7 in housing 9. A lip 17 may be gripped by a user during removal. Such apparatus may be located onto three bolts, each supporting one leg 200 of a stand. The platform may include a recess 13 to receive locating cone 210 of a tripod leg and rib 15 may form a ring around it to guard the leg against being knocked. Alternatively metal decking may be attached to metal beams using bolts with support apparatus located onto the bolts for a surveying method. Then the apparatus may be removed and concrete poured onto the decking, covering the bolts and forming a floor.</p> |
