<p>A filtering device (1) uses a filtration unit (4) for filtering raw water (RW), and the filtration unit (4) has a depth filter (10) forming a filtration membrane thereof and a housing (9) accommodating the depth filter. The housing (9) includes a raw water inlet port (18) for supplying the raw water to the depth filter, a filtrate water outlet port (16), a gas-supplying port (24) for supplying compressed air (A) into the filtration unit to clean the depth filter, and a drain port (22) for discharging the compressed air together with the raw water. A pore diameter of the filtration membrane is designed within a range of 1 to 25 µm. The filtering device includes a filtrate water supplying passage (8) connected to the filtrate water outlet port, a discharge passage (14) connected to the drain port, a communication passage (15) for communicating filtrate water supplying passage with the discharge passage, and a motor valve (MV5) for opening and closing the communication passage.</p> |
