PURPOSE: An electric device system and an operating method thereof are provided to diagnose an electric device through the function of a terminal. CONSTITUTION: Home appliances(100) perform a predetermined operation. A terminal(80) is connected to the home appliances. The terminal is near to the home appliances or is connected to the home appliances. The terminal collects predetermined measurement data about the home appliances during the operation. The terminal diagnose the state about the home appliances through at least one between operation state data of the home appliances and measuring data.
