<p>A floor panel (1) has an edge portion presenting a sidewardly open groove (40) in which a flexible tongue (30) formed as a separate part is received, and a strip (6) extending horizontally below and beyond the sidewardly open groove. The tongue (30) is designed to cooperate, in a connected state, with a tongue groove (20) of an adjacent floor panel (1') and to lock the adjacent panels vertically. The tongue has a lower part that, in locked position, protrudes outside the groove (40) and that locks against a lower part of the tongue groove (20). The tongue comprises a friction connection formed as a protrusion (36) that is arranged on an upper or lower surface of the tongue.</p> |
