A secondary glazing assembly 60a for installation on an inner side of a primary glazing assembly 50a, and configured to allow inwards movement or inwards opening of at least part of an inner sash 15a of the primary glazing assembly 50a. The secondary glazing assembly 60a comprises a secondary mounting frame 12a comprising a stopping member 13a for abutting the sash 61a of the secondary glazing assembly 60a in a closed configuration. At least a portion of the stopping member 13a is removably attachable to the secondary mounting frame 12a and/or to the primary case 7a so as to allow inwards movement or inwards opening of the inner sash 15a. An extendable hinge 100f connecting the inner sash 15f and the batten rod 14f is configured to extend at least partially away from the batten rod 14f and the primary case 7a upon inwards opening or inwards movement of the inner sash 15f.
