MICROLENS FOR ORGANIC EL DEVICES, ORGANIC EL DEVICE USING THE SAME, AND THEIR MANUFACTURING PROCESS

PURPOSE: A micro lens for an organic EL device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the angular dependency of outgoing light by increasing picking cocoon efficiency of the outgoing light. CONSTITUTION: A micro lens(11) comprises a hardening resin layer having concavo-convex which is formed in the surface. The micro lens is laminated in the outgoing surface of an organic EL(Electroluminescent) display in order to use a concavo-convex shape of the surface as a micro lens structure. The picking cocoon efficiency of light from the organic EL display is improved by the micro lens. The material of a hardening resin layer which forms the micro lens is used for the micro lens of the organic EL display. The thickness of the hardening resin layer belongs to the range of 1-500μm.
