<p>PURPOSE: A digital information processing apparatus is provided to improve the hangul input speed of a user by including a touch panel which displays a hangul syllable unit keypad. CONSTITUTION: A touch screen unit includes a touch panel which displays a hangul syllable unit keypad in the character input mode of a display unit. The touch panel senses the touch signal of the key pad in order to generate a dragging signal. A control unit displays hangul corresponding to the touch signal or a dragging signal to the display unit. The touch panel is allocated to keypad cells corresponding to hangul consonants. The keypad cell includes a consonant key area(321), vowel key areas(322-331), and a function key area(332).</p> |
