METHOD OF DETECTING HUMAN PAPILLOMA VIRUS AND GENOTYPING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method for detecting human papillomavirus and genotype thereof is provided to amplify single strand of L1 gene of the virus and to detect the virus with high sensitivity. CONSTITUTION: A method for detecting human papillomavirus and genotype thereof comprises: a step of performing PCR of L1 gene using a first primer labeled with first label and a second primer labeled second label from a sample; a step of adding exonuclease which recognizes the second label to the L1 gene product and degrading the L1 gene product to prepare L1 gene product; and a step of confirming genotype of L1 gene using two or more kinds of specific probes.
