PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a functional packing material is provided to improve the hardness of a functional packing material and reduce the amount of paper required for manufacture of the functional packing material. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a functional packing material is as follows. Glue and functional materials mixed at 6:4 to 5:5 are spread between two paper sheets(10,20). The two paper sheets are bonded and bent into a wave form, thereby preparing a corrugated core. Outer and inner paper sheets to be attached to the corrugated core are prepared. Glue is spread on the inside of the outer and inner paper sheets. The corrugated core is inserted between the outer and inner paper sheets and compressed together.
