PURPOSE: An emergency exit is provided to enable a user to safely escape downstairs by automatically opening a refuge box. CONSTITUTION: An emergency exit comprises: an urgent situation sensor(110) sensing an urgent situation inside a building; an automatic opening and closing device(120) which automatically opens and closes a refuge box in an urgent situation; a power supply device supplying power to the automatic opening and closing device; a refuge box(140) which is opened in an urgent situation by the automatic opening and closing device; and a refuge ladder(150) which is equipped within the refuge box and is unfolded downward.
