PURPOSE: A copper alloy wire for an electric car line and a producing method thereof are provided to improve the tensile strength, abrasion-resistance, and fatigue properties of the wire. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a copper alloy wire for an electric car line is as follows. A wire rod or bar, composed of a Cu-Mg alloy, is produced through continuous casting(S100). Fine crystal grains are formed by hot-processing the wire rod or bar(S110). The hot-processed wire rod is drawn by cold-processing the wire rod(S120).
