FIELD: technological processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for processing of plastics and may be used to manufacture forming heads to produce double-layer pipes and hollow products by method of extrusion. The technical result is achieved in an extrusion head for manufacturing of polymer double-layer pipes with application of ultrasonic oscillations. The extrusion head comprises a body and a mandrel holder installed in it with a cylindrical section, between ribs of which there are holes made for melt passage, mandrels mounted to create a forming slot and channels to supply outer and inner layers of melts arranged as inclined to each other and communicated with a forming slot and a magnetostrictive radiator. At the same time in the area of polymer melt layers joining on the inclined surface of the forming head there are two magnetostrictive radiators mounted, for smooth entry of the inner layer of polymer melt into the forming head there is a semi-ball element with slots fixed at the end of the mandrel holder, the mandrel holder is made as conical. ^ EFFECT: simplified design of extrusion head, increased efficiency and improved quality of produced pipes. ^ 2 dwg |
