FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to continuous metal casting. Proposed device comprises tubular one-piece crystalliser 30 with multiple lengthwise cavities 5 arranged nearby its inner walls 6, and annular collector plate 7 comprising chambers 31, 32 and 33. Cooling fluid if fed into cavities 5 via chamber 31 from top to bottom. Suspension inner wall and crystalliser outer wall 30 form cooling fluid return channel 5Ç communicated with second chamber 32. Cavities 5 are communicated with channel 5' at crystalliser bottom 30. Device is provided with second channel 5" communicated with third chamber 33 to force second fluid into sprayers 40 cooling ingot at crystalliser outlet. ^ EFFECT: simplified design and maintenance, higher efficiency of cooling. ^ 6 cl, 6 dwg |
