FIELD: technological processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in technological processes that include storage of a strip section. A strip is sent at the inlet to a storage loop. The strip is discharged from the storage loop at the outlet. Using a measurement device arranged at the side of the measurement device inlet, the inlet tension available in the strip at the inlet of the storage is measured. Using a measurement device arranged at the side of the measurement device outlet, the outlet tension available in the strip at the outlet of the storage is measured. The inlet tension and the outlet tension are sent to a control device. The control device is programmed with the help of a control program. The control program is recorded at a data carrier. The control device determines, at least for one driving roller installed between the storage inlet and the storage outlet, a control signal depending on the inlet tension and the outlet tension. The control signal is supplied to at least one driving roller. The strip stored in the storage loop is loaded with at least one driving roller as per the control signal. ^ EFFECT: possibility of simple variation of stored strip is provided. ^ 23 cl, 5 dwg |
