FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of detecting seismic signals on a sea area when searching for underwater deposits of hydrocarbons, in which the coastal area of the continental plate is fitted with pairs of gradiometric seismic detectors which pick up seismic vibrations in the range from 0.1 to 20 Hz. Detecting elements of each pair of seismic detectors are turned about each other in the azimuth by 45 degrees. At frequencies ranging from 0.003 to 0.1 Hz, micro-seismic vibrations are picked up starting with frequency from 0.003 Hz using wideband digital seismic detectors placed in pairs on the boundary of the foot of the continental slope. Magnetic field variations at 0.01-1.0 Hz, magnetic induction of the electromagnetic field at 1-200 Hz, the electrical component of the electromagnetic field at 1-500 Hz, acoustic noise at 5-50000 Hz, hydrodynamic noise of the sea at 0.01-100 Hz in tectonic zones are also measured. Analysis of the detected micro-seismic waves with determination of the presence or absence of hydrocarbons is carried out for transverse micro-seismic waves. ^ EFFECT: high information content and reliability of seismic investigations when searching for underwater deposits of hydrocarbons. |
